The allowances for this year according to JRF and CAB etc (ie those they use to decide how much you can allocate in your income and expenditure sheet without being questioned about overspending) are £340 a month food and housekeeping for one adult, additonal adult is £229 and each child under 14 is £93 - so thats an insane £755 a month ! They are though the maximums allowed.

That used to allow for a bird table but they seem to have ditched that idea.
