Hi,
I’m sole Executor for my mum’s estate and been granted Probate. I’m one of 5 children and 4 of us want to sell our mum’s (father also deceased) house, Willed to us all, but one doesn’t. That sibling is capable of being difficult and is already trying to delay/sabotage any sale. We have offered to let them buy it (and buy the other 4 out) at a favourable price but they can’t afford to. The Will is very straightforward, stating the estate is to be shared equally, but there’s one phrase I would appreciate some advice
My question is, does “convert the same into money” basically/explicitly instruct me to sell the property?
Thanks in advance.
