  • Vodafone - absolutely useless

I have just upgraded to superfast 2 with Vodafone at start April and since last weekend i have been getting a max download speed of 8Mb.

I have spent hours o the phone/live chat with no joy

they have sent a new router, eventually, still the same and are still stalling over the issue

I believe they are throttling lines and are failing to fulfill their speed promise

How do i stand re telling them to stick their contract without paying the outstanding contract?

In my opinion this is a total failing from them to fulfill their side of the contract

    Thanks in advance

I find that most of the Vodafone outlets on the Street or put out there to miss lead all those.lack of understanding- and suck you into contract that you can’t prove of that you didn’t signed for- and not even the Claim complaints department what they slay put in place to help people like me that’s also is Fraud- so for all refused to help.

There are lots of independent free apps that can test your 'speed promise', test the speed at various times throughout the week, keep a record of the results (screenshots) as evidence. Go through their T & C's.

Log into the router and take a note of the connection speed reported. Then do a speed test. Speedtest.net is a well recognised site. Use a cable connection for the test rather than wifi

if the speeds are vastly different the there may be throttling
