i have a claim form off lowel, it says british gas trading limited with reference xxxxxx and current balance 940.00, the agreement were terminated as payments were not maintained and subsequently assigned to the claimant claims
a ,the total of the said sum being 990.34
b, interest pursuant to s69 county courts act1984 at the rate of 8 per cent
    c, cost

i paid direct debit, never missed a month, i left sainbury gas to another supplier as they increase my payment from 122 a month to 350
no meter reading also the meters where faulty as i had to have two new ones,
the agrment was termanited as i change suppliers

I'm lost ..... your posts are unclear and confusing

You say an agreement was terminated as you failed to maintain payments.
That implies you had a debt which you agreed to clear by making regular payments, but failed to maintain.

You later say you left Sainsbury Gas because they increased your monthly payments.

You may have changed suppliers, but did you still owe the previous supplier for power supplied?

You need to set out exactly what has happened in a coherent account, together with whatever proof you have

Why should back billing rules be of any use to you?
You need to explain fully what has occurred

donk know why you are confused
i was with sainsbury gas, paid direct debit, they increase there prices so i changed suppliers, they had just a few meter reading, 4 years later british gas is chasing me for a debt on tha tacount for 900 pound, only been with sainsbury gas for 12 month, paying 130 a month, 2 bedroom semi bungalow, they set the direct debit, paid what they wanted, had meters changed 3 years ago by new suppliers as both meters where faulty.

m bean you have the advantage over us in knowing all sorts of details which you have not yet released to us, hence the confusion.

You have not answered all the questions asked so trying to understand the situation is difficult.

You were asked to supply a detailed account of what has happened, but have not done so.

Set out exactly what has happened, giving dates and meter readings from the time you signed with Sainsbury Gas.

Importantly if you have received proper court forms, what is the issue date and have you acknowledged receipt?
You only have a limited time to act
