Sainsbury's Energy switched customers to British Gas in April.2019.

If you have received actual court forms be sure to follow the directions therein.
On the right hand side of this page is a panel headed "shortcuts" which will give you pointers for your defence

Do you disagree with the claim? If so, why?

You are with Brtitish Gas, unless you know something more.

Sorry. I do not have access to the paperwork of the assignment, but such transfers are commonplace. The result will be that Sinsbury Gas is no longer involved and claiming that they, not British gas alone, should be suing you will not succeed as a defence.

Have you consulted the "shortcuts" ?

Is the form referred to in post 1 the first letter you have received from lowell?

What is the date on the court claim?
                              Have you acknowledged the claim?

Do you actually owe money to Sainsbury Gas anyway?
If the bills were estimated do you have your own record of meter readings?

Have you read the links in the shortcuts panel?
We cannot write a defence for you but only show you what steps you can take.
