    Energey Supplier Warrant Applications

    Heard in the Magistrates court to allow them authority upon being granted to forcibly enter, but does that mean Criminal Procedure Rules or Civil Procedure Rules apply to applications?

    Relevant Statute are:

    Rights of Entry (Gas and Electricity Boards) Act 1954

    Gas Act 1986

    Electricity Act 1989 sch2, 2

    Neither, apparently. It would seem that the standard is actually Wednesbury reasonableness.

    Check your PM in a couple of mins, I'll send you over some material.
