    Hi all,

    Many thanks to you all for your help, & your patience whilst dealing with an IT ignoramus (I'm learning slowly..............mostly by my mistakes lol)

    Mail client thingammy whatsit - that rings a bell (I seem to remember it being mentioned in the email from BT - unfortunately that has 'gone West' as well lol)

    I will try to find it on the other laptop (the M/S Windows one, but I'm not sure if I can access OE on this (Linux) one. (See - absolutely clueless! )

    I will let you know how I fare - provided I don't hit the 'this laptop will self-destruct in 10 seconds' button
