Any ACTUAL judgments would take at least 4 months.

so 11th November + 3 days to pay + 14 days preaction + 33 days to enter defence + 28 days claimant respond to court + 14 days directions questionnaires + 7 days allocating to local court + 30 days to book a hearing + 30 days notice of hearing incl. 14 days disclosure etc ... (and I'm being very generous in reducing those timescales down to the absolute minimum) = APRIL 12th - possibly up to 30 days earlier if the court is quiet and the staff are completely on the ball.

So I'd say anything post October COULDN'T be a full judgment - just a ' not replied to claim' default judgment.

      - Any indication that claim forms were even sent to the correct address or the defendant had knowledge of the claim.

and no indication there of post claim action that may have been taken such as set aside applications etc.

In other words such a list, even if genuine, proves absolutely *****er all as to the legality or merit of their claims.
Yes all the above plus the cases are presented as ''case law'' which is cannot apply to even contested judgments coming out of County Courts.

I still find it hard to credit that if there had genuinely been that many or more previous court claims, even allowing for some not defended due to wrong address or apathy or other reasons, that there would be so little or no evidence of them on the various consumer forums.

We only have TWO actual court claims on here, and no I haven't seen any on other sites either - if this truely had been going on since last Feb I'm sure we'd have seen one on here, CAG or MSE over the last year.

Can you expand on this for me, does that mean somebody took them to court and they won or lost Passport Worldwide that is? Can we find out the nature of the claim?

It means that someone at least filed a claim against them (as they were known then as Passport Services Worldwide Ltd).

As the resultant judgment against them was issued at the County Court Money Claim Centre (rather than a named County Court) it probably means the claimant was awarded a judgment by default because P1sspoor Services Worldwide either didn't acknowledge the claim or enter a defence .

The CCJ is marked as 'unsatisfied' which usually means they haven't paid the claimant the £202 that the court ordered them to do.

Had some correspondence by email from them over the last few days. At first we thought this looked promising that they might agree to stop pursuing us, but a further email today now simply refers to their 'you can't cancel' clause.

Hilariously, they do state that email is one of the only acceptable forms of cancellation. We emailed them on the same day that their s[h]ite was, most regrettably, used - telling them where to go. Therefore, seeing as they've now, in writing, told us we can only cancel by email - and we did - how the hell do they expect to pursue this 'claim' in court? The only thing in their favour is that we emailed 'complaints' rather than 'cancel' (there wasn't a 'cancel' email address at the time, but their response doesn't even acknowledge that). However that's a minor point and any court with any kind of intelligence would, I'm sure, note that and ask these idiots why they failed to take note of or even respond to our email.

Oh, and the amount has risen from £117.60 to £134, then £144, then £176 (to which 'Charles Mercer' indicated we would receive a refund if an error was found - IDIOT! WE HAVEN'T PAID YOU!)...and on today's email, over £200!

Police! Help! Attempted robbery over the interwebs in progress!

Has anyone had any 'communications' from them in the last couple of days?

Thanks @Amethyst, but I'm specifically using that email address publicly so that I can be found - but I can protect myself from spam etc.

I believe it is very important that the real people can meet so that we can properly support each others cases. I've decided to fight this on the grounds of 'unfair contract terms' and that the website is misleading based on the number of people who have been misled.

In order that people can actually find each other to support each other in court, rather than each of us individually pointing at anonymous posts in forums, I've created this facebook group... Please allow us to share it so that people who are willing to be found can join forces.

                            Thank you.

While I think it is a good idea that we support each other, I don't think it's wise to post real names and identities in a public forum for those of us who have unresolved cases with them.

Any ideas we share, or tips, or comments - they will see and will be busily beavering away finding a legal loophole or some other way to put pressure on people. Their actions, as evidenced by some people's comments, show they will do anything they can to frighten people into paying.
