It might be an idea for you guys who are expecting, or have, court claims to write yourselves a chronological statement of events, and put corresponding documents together. It will be useful for writing defences later.

Only something simple

1) xx/xx/2014 at xxxx pm First visited the website whilst looking to book an appointment......

2) xx/xx/2014 xxxxpm received email from xxxxxxx stating xxxxxxxx

3) xx/xx/2014 xxxpm received telephone call/ text etc from xxxxxx stating xxxxxxxx

4) xx/xx/2014 I telephoned 0xxx xxxxxxx - the number advertised on the xxxxxxx website with the intention of xxxxxxxxxxxx


If you see what I mean ?

I wrote to my MP last night, and had a missed phone call from them this morning, after a brief email message, they are phoning me tomorrow to discuss and take things further. Much better result than the change.org petition, where apathy apparently rules. 24 signatures so far but we ar 76 off of reaching the first escalation. So another push from you guys here would be great. If you haven't already, please do so here:-

For the sake of the £10 fee Subject Access Requests can be useful for getting confirmation of what information about you that a company holds and for getting documents such as contracts. On occasion they can also throw up something that could come in handy if you're in dispute with the company.

However you are ultimately relying on the integrity of the company to supply all the information which in the case of UK Services & Support Ltd is questionable at best.

Hi I contacted the court to let them know that i intended to defend the claim against me and they replied suggesting that I enter into mediation with the claimants to resolve this matter out of court.

Have you received a proper court claim and if so have you filed an acknowledgement?

You can state that you intend to defend the claim AND that you're prepared to mediate.

Yep I received proper court letter and I sent back acknowledgement and intent to defend myself....i don't really see the sense of mediation....i actually want to confront them in court...i don't care if I lose or have judgement against me.
