Hi all, I am new to forums so apologise if this post is not in the correct place.
I was issued a parking charge notice whilst using a PPS car park in Plymouth. I had purchased a ticket 20 mins before the charge notice was issued. I appealed to pps by letter along with photocopies
of the ticket stub and parking notice and explained the ticket stub had no adhesive tab so I tried to scotch tape it to the windscreen but unfortunately fell face down on the dashboard and was reattached 20 mins later along with the charge notice for the attendant to see a ticket had been purchased. In the reply from PPS they stated that their photographic evidence shows "a piece of paper on the dashboard", and therefore i have to pay an extre £100. The ticket has a square punched area in the corner and can easily be recognised as a ticket. I have both the original ticket, charge notice and letter received by PPS and have made an appeal to popla, is there anything I can do if popla reject my appeal? I am fairly positive there would be a cctv camera that would show a ticket was purchased? Any help would be massively appreciated as I think it is unfair to have to pay an extra £100 when I cannot afford it . Thank you.
