There has been talk on other forums (Pepipoo) about the Lidl signs saying 10 minutes only but an hour if you enter your registration number at the machine inside. Some seem to forget to tell you this on the signs and sometimes the machine inside is non obvious, or variations on that theme.

Complain to Lidl themselves and on their facebook page.

seems like Lidl's getting lots of angry customers because of their new parking rules. Although one of the comments is worth thinking about:

I had the same thing and I'm also refusing to pay and boycotting the store. I also rang Lidl customer services who informed me the cashier should have asked me for My reg number and didn't. They were anything but sympathetic.

I think so, in fact im sure mum said that she was. She's at the hospital for her MOT today (i can say that shes not here) but I will ask her after work.. if we are allowed back in!!ainkiller:

if she gave her registration at the till, Lidl should have proof she was a customer (meaning the 1hr she was fined for is already covered)
