Re: parking eye fine

SERIOUSLY?????? she was authorised by farmfoods and they were told that, they were given her registration number, they can quite easily get her address from that, the driver had sent a letter with our appeal confirming they were driving and were authorised, and they were told that farmfoods had contacted PE who said they would cancel if a fee was paid,

    - - - Updated - - -

the only things theyve ruled on are parking regulations, everything else was dismissed. they also refer to the driver, and it was made very clear, i was not the driver

      Re: parking eye fine

If it was just a case of saying i'm authorised then everyone would do it. The information you gave to popla seems to consist of no more than that as far as authorisation is concerned.. They'll rule that way every time unless given something more substantial.

you have been rude and arrogant to us right thru this thread, i was here for advice and i followed every bit of your advice, i included all of your information on their evidence, which was also rejected, and gave them all the other information i was told to, so where do you get off with your attitude?

mystery1 ... would now be a good time to "officially" name the driver so that she can appeal the fine herself (or is it too late for that)??

You came to the thread having done your own thing which is your choice. I have asked repeatedly who authorised parking and the question remains unanswered. I then gave the best help i could with the available information and continued to answer every question you asked.

If my help is not your thing you can always ask for a refund.

we came to this thread at the point it was going to POPLA, we didnt do our own thing, we did exactly as we were advised. You asked and i repeatedly answered that farmfoods gave the authorisation.

its not the help thats the problem, its your attitude. rude and aggressive, right thru this thread.

kati, has even asked you a question and youve ignored it.

You came after appealing and getting the operators response.

The answer to the question can be found on post 41.

I can do no more for you. I've tried my best and thankfully nobody is worse off than if i had said nothing.

OK ... so baileys mum could now write to PE providing the drivers name and address??
Would this enable them to re-start the whole appeals process M1??

                      I like herbal tea...

For ref this is someone who was told to ignore the parking notices and followed that advice - http://legalbeagles.info/forums/show...l-Ltd&p=641264

Also, of course, Barry Beavis, http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-essex-34721126 , but that's an extreme example that was fought all the way ( very well but sadly to no avail ).

I don't see it can hurt writing to PE to give the drivers full details ( though I'm not sure why that wouldn't already have been done as the argument was she was driving the vehicle and was authorised to park there when the ticket was issued) Your daughter needs back up from her work though to confirm she was authorised, and what their policy is on using an alternative vehicle etc.

Im a green tea drinker myself :taunt:

thank you for stepping in. i actually rang and spoke to the site office today of st modwen, who own the shopping area, they are going to speak to parking eye to get this cancelled. st modwen are the ones who employ parking eye, even they said all parking companies are as bad as each other. hoping that they dont still try to charge this crazy £60 to cancel it. will let you know what happens.

The employer stepping in seems the best bet, although PE are a bit of a rule unto themselves.

to clarify. st modwen are the land owners, so in essence they employ parking eye.

still would like an answer to katys question

                              Good afternoon XXXXX,

I can confirm for you that your parking charge has been cancelled. The issue was that it had gone beyond our control and been passed over to POPLA, but having spoken to parking eye and explained the situation they have cancelled your parking charge.
