    Re: parking eye fine

Thank you for that. My daughter didnt have a permit, I assume she was on some kind of authorised list, as she was never fined when parking there in her own vehicle.

She doesn't now work for the company, but I have made contact with them and they are also trying to deal with parking eye on our behalf, I am hoping this matter goes away, but I do need to reply to the appeal

You could alter the wording of M1's post (#15) to say that she was a manager at Farmfoods and as such her name was on the whitelist that the company held ... they did a check of the car reg on the whitelist (as shown on page #47 of their document)

        Re: parking eye fine

thanks kati. yeah they did a check of the white list, but seemingly only checked my reg, they didn't show that they checked my daughters reg, so obviously they didn't. (sorry for any confusion, this is the driver writing now and not baileys mum)

Alter the small section on that only, using your knowledge of the system. According to the sign it was permits only, which is all i can go on.

              Re: parking eye fine

I dont have any knowledge of the system, nor do we know how exactly my daughter was able to park there without being fined each time, which is why we assume there was a safe list or something like that. All we know for sure is that she was authorised to park there.

                Re: parking eye fine

We have just had a reply back from the company she worked for, is it right that we have to wait for POPLAs decision? this is the response i got back from her employers:

Thank you for providing the requested further information.

Having contacted ParkingEye we have been advised that until POPLA have reached a verdict, neither they nor ourselves would be able to take any further action.

Once their decision has been made, should this not be in your favour, please do let us know and we will again look at the matter once more for you. We have however been notified that POPLA are currently working on a turnaround of up to four weeks.

I am sorry we cannot currently help any further however, I hope this information helps.

Parking Eye at their best again !! If PE have been contracted by FarmFoods then it is they who give the orders not PE. PE can withdraw from POPLA or jusy not present any evidence.

Because they don't like to be told to discontinue and therefore not get any income. There is nothing whatever to stop them discontinuing, apart from that loss of income. As long as you get confirmation that the principal has asked them to discontinue then that will hold you in good stead if PE take it further.

To know she was authorised tells me you know something about the system, i mean, how the hell can you be authorised if you don't know who authorised you or why ?

Anyway, if you can't write something just delete the point because absent any reasoning you'll lose the point anyway so we want the other 2 stronger points to stand out.

sorry for late reply to your message, for some reason it doesnt show in my run of replies. She was told to park there when she was at that store. Thats all I know.

I've just heard back from Farmfoods, and they've said there is a charge if its stopped now, don't know if that's true or not. too late though for my submission as i called PE underhand for not stopping it.
