    Re: Help with Popla appeal

yes, I have received one redleg..I am putting the appeal together but not too sure if I have covered everything..I am thinking maybe I should just let the Parking Appeals service handle the appeal for me..what is the timescale for an appeal..how long do you have to submit following a rejection from the parking company?

    many thanks

A fairly standard appeal should suffice however check the keeper liability requirements have been met too.

Getting Cargius in won't hurt either won't. http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co...rt-beavis.html

Please can someone advise - does this statement suggest I should have received my PCN within 14 days after the vehicle was parked as mines was sent 18 days later?

A Notice to Keeper can be served by ordinary post and the Protection of Freedoms Act requires that the Notice, to be valid, must be delivered either
                  1. (Where a notice to driver (parking ticket) has been served) Not earlier than 28 days after, nor more than 56 days after, the service of that notice to driver; or
                  2. (Where no notice to driver has been served (e.g ANPR is used)) Not later than 14 days after the vehicle was parked

                    Re: Help with Popla appeal

You are correct. Serving the Notice To Keeper outside of the 14 means that they can not hold the keeper liable and can only take action against the driver, if known

If there was no notice on the vehicle then, yes, a notice to keeper must be served within 14 days.

                        Re: Help with Popla appeal

And if the driver is the keeper - will this stand - will this mean the PCN is void?

Thanks for that if the Registered Keeper is the driver will this still stand? - is the PCN void?

No - they have made an assumption.

They state they are serving the PCN on the registered keeper as they have made an assumption this was the driver.
