    Re: smart parking fines

I'd just file and ignore. Pity you seem to have said/implied you were but what's done is done.

Unless they lodge court papers, which is unlikely, do the same for the barrage of letters you'll get.

They can't fine you. They can claim losses but so what the losses are minimal.

File it and get on with life.

So dnt pay it just ignore it .....just freaked out that they start charging charges on top of fine which they stated in letter so would be £100 plus charges (£60 if paid early )

            Re: smart parking fines

It'l go up to about £807251241209612400 but they'll offer you various discounts once those demands are ignored. Eventually, in almost all cases, they'll give up and any "debt" will "prescribe" in 5 years. (expire). No entry on your credit record is possible without an award by a court which is highly unlikely to happen.

Why ? I told you they'd send various demands and it'd rise. File them all.

Pressure is how they make money. They give up eventually.

The case exists but it's English.

It remains to be seen if they have the stones to visit the Sheriff though.
