    Hi again des8

Yes the other signs state that you will incur a parking charge however I cannot read the small print in the images they sent.

I've attached the lease if you would like to check it over.

    Kind Regards

I cannot check whether or not Total have complied with their contract as I have not seen the full signage nor the actual premises nor the full contract (great part of it missing!)

However reading what is available that immediately throws up the questions
      1) was planning permission (?change of use possibly) required, and if so was it obtained
      2) does the site comply with BPA Code of practice?
This is the code in force in June: 2022 https://www.britishparking.co.uk/wri...2020_v8(2).pdf
      3) the document supplied states the contract commences 1st July 2022. Your parking incident was 22 June 2022 so you leave in that sentence in your defence about not being supplied with a copy of the contract authorising Total to manage the car park and issue charges. Hopefully they will rock up to court and say here it is as sent. You will then point out their error and they will retire defeated as Total have not shown they were entitled to levy charges. Just do not point out their error to them before the court hearing
      4) that is only part of the contract. Is that all that was sent you?
