Hi all I'm really in need of some firm advice regarding a failure to insure fine.
i sold my car to a main Hyundai dealer a as a px for my new car about 6 months ago, last week I received a fine for £50 for failure to insure the car that I handed over to the dealer as px, I posted off the v5 slip to the dvla on the Monday (2 days after) and as far as I was concerned that was the end of the matter.
am I liable for the car that I no longer own and is the fine even legal, any help would be really help as I feel this fine is something the current owner would be paying
