Hi all.
I live in a small cottage, sublet with permission from the local large rural estate from the tenant of larger farm, which is its self is rented from the same large rural estate. I also separately sublet a small shed and a defined part of the yard on the farm for storage and have had it for the past 4 years, all with no problems for anybody. My direct landlord has not had his lease renewed on the farm, and it has been given to a new tenant, whilst my house (and another neighbours) have been taken back into direct control of the estate and we both have a new tenancy agreement direct with them.
Thats all fine, my problem is the estate want me to give my shed back to the new farm tenant, who had verbally agreed I could keep it on when they took over. The estate says they are no longer happy with the subletting arrangements and the new tenant now actively wants to make use of my shed. I have a meeting with the Estate land agent tomorrow. Do I have any rights regarding the occupation of my shed?
