In June I won a judgement after a hearing to be repaid near enough £500 and despite the defendant failing to appear I was foolish enough to ask the court to order repayment at £25.00 per month. I didn't want to cause the Defendant unnecessary hardship despite them taking me loaning them money in 2013 and not intending to pay me a penny back for being a weakness. I even asked the first payment to be 6 week from the judgement instead of 28 days to allow them time to begin paying.

They paid in July, August and September with October's due yesterday. I'm pretty confident this lack of payment means they don't intend paying, but will pop a letter to remind them in the post and wait a couple of weeks before taking action.
I know I could apply for a Warrant of Control, but with costs added I doubt I would see the full amount owed. I know they work, so my next intention is to attach their earnings if I must.
I know I will need to file an N337 and pay the fee to the local court, do I have to personally serve the Debtor? Because if I have to pay a process server it hardly becomes worth the effort. Or is it simply a straight forward file with the court and they will post out service on my behalf as with MCOL?
