In 2015 a 12 month secondment opportunity became available. Someone was appointed to the post. The original post holder (on secondment themselves) moved to another job and the post was deleted. The person on the 12 month secondment had the secondment extended for a further 9 months. Is it legal to extend a secondment on a deleted post?
