Hope you don't mind but could do with some advice. (Please remove if not).
I have worked at my current place of work for about 6 years. We have just had a new manager recently and things have changed. About 8 weeks ago we had a letter inviting us for an interview that may lead to a disciplinary, for misconduct.
Six weeks after the interview and no answer I contacted HR as my manager was on holiday. "I have been on holiday after emergency surgery since July. Will hopefully have this sorted out by the end of the week." It has been nearly two weeks since and I have had nothing. I seems to me that they are trying to brush it under the carpet.
I was planning to resign before I had the "letter", as I am hoping to get a job driving, but it stopped me as I was hoping for a reference.
Most of concerns can be proven to be false but others are their word against ours.
I just want to leave but I don't want to cause any problems in the future.
Thanks for any advice in advance.
