    Re: Breach of school safeguarding?

Okay, so it has been a few weeks now. The police requested statements that the school has, they gave some, not all.

    Question:

The Asian woman/teacher complained to the school about the other teacher revealing a safeguarding issue about the woman, who also has a child currently in the school, to outsiders, who did not need to know. She complained 4 times, with no action taken. After the 3rd time, the Asian woman/teacher felt she had to tell the woman that her, and her sons, safeguarding was being breached. The woman has now been living with this for a while, not being able to trust going to the school, as so far they have done nothing. This is causing her distress. She also had to tell her son, which caused him distress. The woman has been the doctors who prescribed medication etc.. Trouble eating, sleeping etc.. The child has struggled at school since, his exams are soon. She is going to put a grievance in

Now, my opinion is she should take legal action and sue the school owners. They have already lost 5 schools, and I think the only way to hurt them is in the pocket. How would she go about this? And do you think she has a case?

      IMHO

This amounts to harassment via the Equality Act 2010.

      Update

On further reading there appears to be 2 separate issues.

      1/ Racism - EqA 2010
      2/ Harassment - http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1997/40/section/2
(The harassment would not be discriminatory unless it involved a protected characteristic)
