once again I am in the firing line and have been invited to attend a fact finding meeting tomorrow afternoon with my employer to discuss the "Usage of customers WiFi in May 2015"
I work with a Security Company and have been working on this "Customers" site every few weeks to a few months and when I wasn't working their I was doing my own work which was Mobile Response/Supervisor.
the entire month of may according to my rota I was not scheduled to work and did not work on that site. I was in fact off work on Paternity leave and also had taken a weeks holiday with my leave and returned to work in June.
I was contacted a few weeks ago by the operations admin (someone who I feel has bullied me these past few years) on my Whatsapp messenger, he was asking things like "Was there WiFi on the Customers site" "Who gave you the password" and "Did everyone have it" I answered all questions honestly and said "yes their was WiFi" "Joe Bloggs gave me the password" and "yes everyone had it". i asked what it was about but he read the message and when offline, i realised he never asked if it worked... the password never worked for me and I was not the type of person to hand out customer information. but on Saturday I received a letter from the company asking me to attend a Fact finding meeting on the 6th of October (My birthday of all days) and I am getting a bit peeved off as this seems to becoming a witch-hunt,
I am already on a first and final warning which does not expire until the 24th October this year, and if this incident happened in May why is it only being acted on now.
I have and always have kept Rotas, Memos, Screenshots of Texts, emails etc... just basically anything the company have said and sent to me.
can anyone please offer me some advice as to what I can do?
