Recently a manager has abused his position through repeated threats of getting me sacked, this was said behind closed doors. My union told me to put in a grievance which I did however the hearing was carried out by his friend. The mangers closed ranks as expected but then lied on a grand scale in order to undermine me and drag my name through the mud. The grievance notes were heavily doctored. I have a stage two hearing due but see little point as it will be more of the same. Just wondering where I stand legally and how I can protect myself?
I`ve spoken to ACAS and they said all I can do is resign and go for constructive dismissal, which is a bit extreme in my view. Do employees actually have any rights?
Don`t ask about my union, they think they are all powerful but they are useless.
