Bit of a smaller question than a lot on here, but it is asked more out of intrest.
my contracted hours are 38 hours a week being monday - thursday 8.15-17.15 and 8.15-12.15 on a Friday. We recently have been "back charged" for taking too much holiday in 2013 since we were all counting Fridays a being 4 hours (odd that)
We have been informed today that "Everyone’s holiday entitlement is calculated by taking 8.5 hours x 25 = 212.50 hours holiday As holiday can only be taken in full or half days a half day must be 4.25 hours and as such is allocated accordingly."
While not a major issue is does niggle a bit that we are "losing" 1/4 hours holiday on a Friday.
Whats they view of the assembled members.
