Re: Suspended for breach of confidentiality. Reporting child abuse to the Police!
I know that I am new to this forum, but having read the OP and subsequent replies, this is a very serious situation indeed.
On the face of it, there is (as others have pointed out) a suggestion of collusion between various social services departments and the head of fostering. There is also a clear attempt in my opinion to pervert the course of justice by "gagging" the people who are interested in looking after the safety of children.
Would it be worth the OP getting in touch directly with the relevant government department, with possibly a threat of going to the mainstream press?

I have often wondered why abuse cases happen, but reading through these posts, it becomes much easier to see.
