    Re: Disability question...please help

to complain about the conduct you have received in this serious lack of support would be to send an official letter of complaint to the union HQ

i think this is UNITE , if so, send to

Unite, Unite House, 128 Theobald's Road, Holborn, London, WC1X 8TN

ADDRESS IT TO THE EQUALITY OFFICER

PUT YOUR ENTIRE COMPLAINT IN WRITING

and ask why union legal and medical did not handle this

    send recorded delivery,

if they still give you no joy then update your thread and we will go straight to the central arbitration committee

      Re: Disability question...please help

thank you bluebottle for contacting millitant, and thanks millitant for getting back to me, Its the other big union not unite

what is the central arbitration committee?

I did make an initial complain, I contacted the the main number they left a message with regional director, or something like that, and they wrote to me saying it did not warrant a legal rep

but Im not too worried at this stage, as my case is going to tribunal I do have time for complaining about the union considering I have already paid the brief for my case for the employment tribunal

Also you mentioned in your message that 'why legal and medical did not handle this' do unions have medical professionals as well? as the employers are denying i have a disability
