Hi there,
my employer gave me the ‘heads up’ that my role was at risk of redundancy 2 and half weeks ago (on my birthday, what a present that was!). Had first letter to begin the consultation period and a formal meeting to discuss it. I have carried working in a ‘business as usual’ manner since but my mental health is all over the place and according to the employee handbook, as ive been there over 5 years, im entitled to up to 4 months long term sick on full pay.
I dont intend to take the full four months but cant determine that right now.
guess my question is what would happen if i was go on long term sick leave during the consultation period?
thanks in advance
