Say you passed ALL you exams during your 4 year Master degree course at uni, after having gained 4 A-Levels and 9 GCSE's at a private UK Grammar school (who use Cambridge and Oxford examining boards).
Then went on to do practical assessed work training for 12 months. Then another repeat 12 months so a total of 2 years of practical training, where overall you passed 12 months of training and passed ALL of the competencies set by the authoritative body.
Then passed the training tutor's appraisals
But the final signing off was not given, as being competent, because the lady pharmacist said:
- I need more experience
- I cant communicate effectively in English.
Would this not consitute as being unfair?
As a result of this I did not qualify and was denied a career in pharmacy. The university did not back me up either they said thats her decision.
English is my first language, i got two English GCSE's, Ive given many successful vocal presentation in English at university, I got over 75% in my final year dissertation written in English.
No doubt it has caused much financial loss from a career. I mean I have heard of mute people qualifying as pharmacists..
This was quiet a few years ago, but is there still anything i can do about this to get some justice?
