    Good Afternoon,

I have worked for XXX 9 years and 2019 Oct I have found a company with a better contract with YYY, so I handed my resignation to done 2 weeks notice, was all good conditions when I left . In June time 2020 I have applied for job at ZZZ as they have offered good benefits on their work contracts, anyway I’ve started working at ZZZ done 2 days when at some point I been called in the office for a meeting and I been told that they have to lay me off because of the XXX manager ( my previous manager) told them that :
1 I have found a wallet and I took a bank card I went to an ATM and withdraw some cash

2 I have stolen some vehicle parts and another lie was that they have dismissed me , these are all lies!! I have to mention that XXX and ZZZ operating in the same yard so XXX verbally said to ZZZ that I’m banned in all their sites, thing is I never had an official letter or anything from XXX to state that , ZZZ management has asked XXX to provide some evidence, they waited 1 week for them to present the evidence and nothing after that XXX come back with,,we cannot give you any evidence due to data protection “ I’m with no job since single mum and I have applied several times for a job within same industry ( automotive) and I keep get rejected because majority of jobs are for XXX or in their yards.

    I’m very desperate please advise!

Can you just cofirm when it was that you last worked for Cazoo?

In terms of trying to bring any claim at an employment tribunal you need two years service unless you can claim discrimination or a limited number of other situation and if you could prove this you would need to make a claim within 3 months less a day from when Cazoo ended your employment.

From the times you have given in your post this appears to have happened in the summer of last year in which case you would be out of time to make a claim even if you could prove it met the acceptable criteria to bring a claim for less than 2 year serice.

Can you consider taking the valuable skills that you have learnt from your time at XXX and transfer them to another industry?

I am sorry but based on employment law there is nothing that you can do now given the length of time that has passed.
