Hi everyone, I work for a council run organisation where I have been subjected to bullying and harassment and also some sexual discrimination. I started the grievance procedure and because they have dragged their heels so much with it, going massively out of policy with timescales (still ongoing over 10 months later). Apparently I am out of the timescales to make a discrimination claim as the ‘act’ happened well over 6 months ago. Now if the grievance had been completed and finished within the policy timescales (28 working days) I would have had a chance to log this behaviour within the relevant timescales. Is there anything I can do about this now as I’m being told that it’s just too late.
