Consultation period over. Restructure will be reducing band 6 from 23 FTE to 11 FTE, and increasing band 5 posts from 2 FTE to 23 FTE. The nurses not selected for band 6 roles will be put into the band 5 jobs. Will get the result of the selection process middle of November and will put into band 5 jobs beginning of December. Only gives me two weeks to find another band 6 job. Is some pay protection depending on length of employment. Told we are not at risk of redundancy as we will be given band 5 jobs. Massive implications for me in career aspirations, pay, hours, status. Any other options?
