Thanks for your message.

I am Filling in the DLA form for myself as Under the Disability discrimination Act I am Classified as Disabled but as Far as the benefits system is concerned You are not disabled unless you qualify for disability benefits.

I have been putting of appyling for a while now.

I used to fill them in for my husband and never had a problem but think I have benn putting it off because it makes you realise just how bad things really are.

I am having trouble wording my answers because I know that if it's not in the terminology that is required then I am unlikely to be awarded DLA.

Shooter I know exactly what you mean. I took forever to do my son's form but it seems to have worked in the end, as he was awarded the higher rate in the beginning. If you need any help with the wording please feel free to ask. You can pm me if you prefer. Good luck
