I noticed on my credit file recently that a Citi debt on my file had been changed
to Cabot.
However although my current address, which I've resided at for 3 years, is on my credit file,
the address on the Citi/Cabot entry on my credit file is my old address.
I assume that Cabot will try to contact me at some time.
However I'm concerned that they will (perhaps deliberately) write to my old address.
There are currently no searches showing on my credit file.
The account with Citi has been in dispute for around 4 years as they couldn't produce a CCA,
and was handed out to Capquest around 4 years ago (and returned to Citi when CCA couldn't be found).
Because account is in dispute it should never have been passed/sold to Cabot, but should I have any concerns
about Cabot (sneakily perhaps) trying to take legal action against me by using my old address
to contact me - or is that not possible?
Thanks in advance
