You could, I just wonder if there is any chance of them discontinuing so soon after requesting the CCA from the OC. That was my reasoning behind waiting for a short period of time of say a month or two.

CCA 1974 requires that the request, which is made to the current owner of the alleged debt, is complied with within 12 days (+ 2 for posting)

If they can't, then the alleged debt becomes unenforceable until they do comply.

Imho, if they can't p!$$, they should get off the pot!
