If you sent a CCA request and included the £1 fee on 30.01.2022 they have approx another week in which to produce it.

With regard to Arrow Global's latest fee demand I would tell them that they have already commenced a court action for this matter and so they need to apply to the court to amend their claim.
Don't know if that is the right approach, but it is what I would do.

Hi received a letter from northampton county court today

" i acknowledge receipt of your defence. A copy is being served on the claimant (or the claimants solicitor)
The claimant may contact you direct to resolve any dispute. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, the claimant will inform the court that he wishes to proceed. The court will then inform you of what will happen.

Where he wishes to proceed , the claimant must contact the court within 28 days after receiving a copy of your defence . After that period has elapsed, the claim will be stayed. The only action the claimant can then take will be to apply to a judge for an order lifting the stay"

do i just wait 28 days or do i reply to the court when no cca arrives in a few days with a new defence

        any help is appreciated
        thank you

              Hi
received another letter today from drydens

with reference to the above claim recently issued against you ,we write to acknowledge receipt of the defence/part admission filed in the county court business centre.
We are currently seeking our clients instructions and will write to you again upon the receipt of the same. No further action in respect of this claim will be taken until we have our clients instructions.

do i just wait for the 28 days to get close and file a new defence, if so how do i do that.

in the letter from the court it mentions it could be stayed, what does that mean

If the claim is stayed it means no further action can be taken without the permission of the court.

There is an example of a defence in the SHORT CUTS panel. You can amend it to fit your circumstances, but don't send it till nearer the time

it is getting close to the 28 days to file new defence, can you tell me how i put a new defence on mcol as i havent received any documents from drydens
I have looked on mcol where it shows defence as allowing 28 days extra but cant see how to add to this

The sample defence in the SHORT CUTS panel can be amended to suit your circumstances.

If you need further guidance come back, but we cannot write your defence for you

You can email it to the Court, but also send a copy to the Claimant -

                        ccbcaq@justice.gov.uk

In the email subject line write Defence - XXXXXXXXX v XXXXXXXXXX - Claim No: XXXXXXXXXX

In the email add a few more details i.e. Defence attached etc.
