I got some feedback from the forum on Friday (much appreciated) I had hoped to defend an outstanding credit card debt that I have made no payment towards for over six years on the basis it is now statute barred, I had stated via online Money.gov I would defend it and requested CCA etc from solicitors - the debt co. sent me relevant info. the CCJ claim form is dated 8/3/22 and the data record of the debt states it defaulted on 29/2/16. It looks like the debt co are pretty sure they can win this otherwise why pursue it - It appears to be only because of a matter of days. Do I continue to defend on the SB basis, or admit now liability? What happens either way... never had a CCJ before - can I offer to make a repayment plan before it goes any further - help please!
CCJ - deciding if worth defending?
