I know there's loads of threads on these guys and I have looked through alot of them but can't find the information I need, I'm still not sure what I'm supposed to be doing to be honest
I only noticed this email in my junk mail by complete accident, so apparently they've already applied for a ccj against me, I've had no letters and no claim pack at all. I'm on the electoral register and haven't been hiding what would my next step be?
do I contact the court and ask for it to be put aside as I couldn't defend myself or do I contact them? As the letter says about the enforcement team I'm guessing it's too late to pay it within the month and have it not on my record but I private rent so I really do not want it on there if I'd have known about it I would've paid it straight away! As it was £75 before the court fees and now it's shot up to £281
any advice would be really appreciated, I'm worried if I pay it now just to make them go away that I won't be able to get it put aside as well? Is that the case
I checked on noddle and I do have a ccj on there which has totally crashed my credit score.
thank you for your help!
