  • Tm legal - pre specialist enforcement team

I know there's loads of threads on these guys and I have looked through alot of them but can't find the information I need, I'm still not sure what I'm supposed to be doing to be honest
I only noticed this email in my junk mail by complete accident, so apparently they've already applied for a ccj against me, I've had no letters and no claim pack at all. I'm on the electoral register and haven't been hiding what would my next step be?
do I contact the court and ask for it to be put aside as I couldn't defend myself or do I contact them? As the letter says about the enforcement team I'm guessing it's too late to pay it within the month and have it not on my record but I private rent so I really do not want it on there if I'd have known about it I would've paid it straight away! As it was £75 before the court fees and now it's shot up to £281
any advice would be really appreciated, I'm worried if I pay it now just to make them go away that I won't be able to get it put aside as well? Is that the case
I checked on noddle and I do have a ccj on there which has totally crashed my credit score.
    thank you for your help!

What date does Noddle say it was put on? Do you know who the original creditor was and did you owe them? At present I wouldn't worry unduly about enforcement as would hazard a guess it will be the County Court Bailiff. In the meantime by all means speak to them and in particular you are looking as to what address they sent everything to, if they are uncooperative then contact the Court and ask they send you copies.

        Hi there

If a Judgment has been granted you must move fast, you will need to look at applying to set aside the Judgment however along side this i would suggest also approaching the otherside and inviting them to consent to the judgment being set aside, as this could assist you on the issue of costs of your application.
