County court claim form

My girlfriend worked for a relatively short time in the local nhs service, after leaving she received an invoice informing her of an overpayment of salary. She ignored it because the salary earned was worked out from signed and dated timesheets.
she has now received a claim form from county court business centre, Northampton.
what should we do? We are a hard working couple but can barely manage to keep our heads above water.
hopefully someone on here can advise us.

Can you post a copy of the particulars of claim section of the claim form (with personal details removed) or type them out please?

Even with timesheets, it is possible for mistakes to occur. Are you saying that the amount paid to you was actually correct?

Or do you accept that payment was incorrect? If so, you may still be able to dispute repayment on the basis of change of position. Was the payment within the correct ball park, or was it obviously wrong?

Need to see the PoC to see if unjust enrichment is being claimed, but this was my trail of thought too.

POC is Particulars of Claim - it should be within the documents you received from the court.

People on this forum are very helpful, and they'll help you with this claim, but they really need to see the details of what's going on. That means you scanning/photographing the forms you received from the court, removing the personal identifying details, and uploading that here. If you can find the invoice and accompanying letter, do that also, please. If you don't do that, they can't help you.

If you can't delete the personal details yourself, somebody can help with that, so please say so.
