I have been getting aggressive letters and correspondence from BWLegal about an alleged parking offence a year and a bit ago.
I have been replying to them over email and have asked multiple times to see photo evidence as I am confident I was parked on land owned by a friend of mine (in front of her house while I visited), but they seem to be shying away from the question and insist that I have already received all evidence to do with the case, and if I refuse to pay the charge of some £150, they will take me to County Court. The parking was in another city so going to court will be difficult for me should they take action against me.
How do I go about dealing with them? I have insisted that they are in violation of the freedom of information act by getting my details from the DVLA when I committed no offense as well. Should I take any action about this?
Any advice would be appreciated.
