Chances of success for CCJ

I have a Old CCJ more than 3 years now . I discovered last month for about 800 pounds. So I have sent CPR part 18 to the Claimant solicitor. I got a letter reply saying they cant sent me anything and I cannot contest in court again. Can I use this letter to set aside the judgement? What happens If set aside is sucessful, Do I have to pay full amount in 30 days to get it removed from my credit file?

CPR Part 18 can only be used in ongoing matters and as the claimant had a judgement the solicitors are not going to send anything to you because as far as they are concerned it's done and dusted.

Did you defend the claim against you or know about the CCJ at the time?

no i did not defend originally. I discovered it later around 3 years later. So how can it be removed
