Regarding RLP's comments about providing an address, my (faulty?) understanding is that you only have to provide the police with an address if they tell you that you are being reported for an offence.
So I wonder what criminal offence RLP are thinking of.

Also, it has not been established that any debt is owed to anyone, least of all RLP.

Continued threats such as these could give rise to a civil action via the Protection from Harassment Act 1997, & is potentially a criminal offence.

I'm so scared 😢 I can't stop worrying! I just don't want anyone finding out and especially my parents! I'm worried that dept collectors will turn up at my old adress. They only have my email so how easy would it be to trace me and would they trace me to my current adress? Also do they usually turn up at your house or is it just letters usually??

Letters only as far as I am aware.
They are just following their normal procedures of applying pressure, especially on those they view as impressionable.

The first check is through the electoral register. If you are not on it, or have ticked the restricted box, they will likely not proceed further due to the costs involved..

Hi again
I can't thank everyone enough for their help.
As you can tell I worry a lot and I am struggling to come to terms with all of this as my actions where compleatly out of character and I am discusted at myself.
This is something I will never ever do again!!! I am terrified that my parents are going to find out and as I have not been contacting RLP I'm finding the waiting and not knowing what will happen but hard to deal with. I never know when another email will arrive or wether I'm in going to have debt collectors at my door or worse at my parents door!!! I know it's impossible for anyone to say what will happen or if they will stop but will this ever end?? How has it ended in previous cases??
This is haveing a huge impact on my life and I'm so scared they will take me to court or that they will continue to harass me

They can not have debt collectors at the door. To have proper debt collectors at the door they need to have been to court and got a judgement against you. But how are they going to do that if they have no address?

If ignored completely they seem to give up after about 9 months, but it does vary.

What do that do for 9 months? Just letters and things??
I'm scared they manage to get my adress some how.
Had it gone on longer for some people??
I don't want to pay the money if it is not a legal requirement. It is money I don't have.
It sounds extremely silly but one of my biggest worries is my parents finding out. As I have moved recently I'm worried that any mail could still end up at my parents adress instead of mine, and my mum has a habit of opening my mail Incase it's urgent. I just really want this all to end and I want to feel more confident that this situation won't escalate.

My hope is that it will go no further than a few email threats however the last email scared me. It talked about people tracking me and providing the wrong adress. The only people who I have my adress to on that day was the police. If they wrote it down wrong surely that is not my fault??
I am still unsure how they obtained my email address, weather it was from the police giving the store my email or my own silly fault for emailing them at the start of all this.
I didn't give them my name or any details of the case in my initial email so that's why in confused how they found out so much information.

As a side note I have just changed my adress on the election register today. im hoping that if any tracing is going to be done they won't have done it yet and therefore any mail will come to my adress not my parents

RLP obtained any info they have from the store, or from your initial email.
If it has been transcribed incorrectly that is to your advantage.
The police would (should) not have given them any info.
Most unlikely they will carry out any in depth search for you as, without a guarantee of success, it is money down the drain for them.
Much easier to keep sending you scary emails in the hope you buckle under the pressure.
"That's the way to do it ... apply pressure" could be their motto.

And also I guess thay can't take any legal action against me if they adress they have is incorrect?

RLP can't take any action (civil or criminal) against you as they have no standing.

Stop fretting!!
It is most unlikely that they will trace you, and there is nothing you can do about that anyway
If they do make contact, feel free to return for advice and support.

Meanwhile get on with your life
