vodafone charging me for something i dont even have!

    ok have spoken to a friend who works in Vodafone, their call centre is opposite ours (3 mobile phone companies in a 2 mile radius, not bad) and have been advised to do the following

    1: My suspicions were correct, the billing system updates before the order system, ask for the call to be listened to to make sure they confirmed delivery address

    2: if they haven't barred the line at report of loss, you need answers as to why not and the date you reported it to them FROM THEIR SYSTEMS. if they dont tally you need to calls listened to.

    3: if they have refused to contact Fraud, you need the date and time of the call and the advisors name.. if they say there is no record of such a request.... you see where im going with this dont you??

    the key word here is ESCALATE!!

    if your not getting answers, escalate, if your not being contacted back, escalate it.. go as high as you can and make as much noise as you can, twitter and FB are good as well!!

    DO NOT lose the rag and start shouting/swearing though, your cause is then lost!!

      finally got to talk to a manger who apologised! he admitted himself no one changed or cancelled anything! and he did it after a month of me asking. Got £50 credited to my account

          Just to clarify, im not employed by Vodaphone, but I know a few very nice lads who are... and they owe me coffee for letting the sit in my car when they got evacuated a few week ago

          I am delighted that we had the results we had and apologise if i seemed heavy handed but I needed as much info as i could get my teeth in to so i could give em a grilling!!!

              It was but things changed. As expected Vodafone promise one thing but mean another ! I'm im still in talks with CEO office they are the only people who are taking this seriously

                  I'm dissapointed that it took the CEO office to sort this issue . Poor Vodafone customer service as always. Just glad it's resolved
