Good evening sir
From looking at your posts, it appears you were a serving police officer. From what i have noticed you took a pride in your position of trust.
Can you tell me please where their is a dedicated museum which marks the conception of the police, to the police force we have today
What i am researching is the "old police" from 1750 to 1850 with reference to Parish Cnstables, Amateur constables, and Night Watch Amateurs
Then we move onto the "new police" from 1829-1870 with peel.
The thing is, i am not looking at the usual tourist explanation, this is an in depth research approach based on fact, not the normal romanticist approach
Any official outlets you can recommend will be a great help
Thank you
