Can someone plz help me. I bought 4 tickets to see dua lipa in April. The vip packet get to meet her have personal photos with her. Cost me just over a thousand pound. I had an email a couple of weeks ago from vip nation to say due to covid we are not getting the full package basically we can't meet her or have photos. Vip said that i would get a partial refund automatically but if I got my tickets through tm to contact them. I have and they said they won't refund because the concert hasn't been cancelled. The bank also won't do anything because its over 20 days. What do I do. I'm not getting what I paid for what I'm getting now is basically face value tickets of 65 pound l. I paid 251 pound each

how did you pay? If by credit card, contact the card company.

Can you expand on the following? 'The bank also won't do anything because its over 20 days.'

Just because they have Terms and Conditions, doesn't mean they are fair.

echat11 the bank said visa terms and conditions state that as its over 20 days there is nothing they can do. Which I find disappointing. I bought the tickets last October. I should be entitled to at least half of money back. I just don't know what to do

Why doesn't Chargeback or Section 75 apply?

Visa Chargeback time limit for debit cards is 120 days from date of original transaction or date of delivery

This link gives a good description of the time limits and processes.

Suggest you make a written complaint to the bank and request a reconsideration on the basis the date you were advised the service would not be available is still within the 120 day chargeback period

des8 I misheard the lady on the phone she must have said 120 days not 20. Which still doesnt help me as i bought the tickets in October. I just don't know what to do. Nobody is claiming responsibility and I've paid over 1000 pound for tickets that other people have paid 65 pounds for because they have cancelled the meet and greet due to covid

The date you were advised the service was not going to be available was around the beginning of March (according to your first post) and that is when the 120 day time limit starts.
That is still within the 120 day time limit

                    Here's the link that I didn't post ! "https://chargebacks911.com/visa-chargeback-time-limit/"

The 120 days starts from the time you were told the service (which you bought in October) was not going to be available.
I believe that date was around the beginning of March.

Read the link. attached post 10 .. reason code 13.1 seems to apply

I get it, you had an email 2 weeks ago to say that 'due to covid we are not getting the full package basically we can't meet her or have photos'.
So your claim would have been invalid.

                          a) Contact CAB / Trading Standards explain what's happened, they will give you some advise and a Reference number.

                          b) Then you can write to TicketMaster with the CAB / Trading Standards Reference number asking for a refund. Quote the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Make sure you get Proof of Postage.

                          c) Lodge a complaint with STAR online - https://www.star.org.uk/dispute-resolution/

I agree 100% that the clock doesn't start until Flicky1314 was made aware of part of the package being withdrawn which was 2 weeks ago.

Flicky1314 has lots of options including Chargeback, should be exploring all of them.
