  • Client Introduction...

I'm in the position where I'm able to introduce new business to some of my clients.
    I'm in recruitment.

My questions are around what the other members here may know about how to do it well.

    - What should I charge my client for a new customer?
    - Is there the going rate?
    - Is there a standard agreement for this sort of thing?
    - ...and, lol, is there a way to do it without pissing off the sales guys?

Given that my clients are in software implementation and could bill millions per year, I'm asking 2% of year 1 gross.
Is this too much/little and is there a good way to structure the deal etc.
I'll also want a lawyer who knows how to draw up one of these agreements.

Does anyone have any suggestions of further info?

We’re not going to be able to advise on pricing and how competitive or fair it is because we won’t know your industry better than you.
