Hello I really need some advice, my partner has a son from a previous relationship that has been out of the country and not in the care of the mother since March 29th 2013 in June/July 2013 he contacted CSA to inform them he was no longer in the country and not in the care of the mother they said they would contact him with an update after they spoke the the mother. We were not allowed contact with his son and wanted to be sure of his whereabouts so we had the police go round in September 2013 and investigate which they then came back with an address to contact him. Still we had no update from CSA we called again May/June this year (2014) they had to investigate again they then called back and informed us that the mother has said he left the country June 1st 2014 - due to them believing the mother we have only got a reimbursement of £660 when infact ithe should of been over £4,000 due to paying since March 29th 2013 when he had left the UK.
We are currently writing a letter to appeal the amount and we will be using the police reference number from when we got them involved to prove he was not in the UK and will mention that he was also taken out of school which they can follow up.
Would this work? As it is a lot of money she has fraudulently taken from us! We have also had 2 children since Aug 2013 and want that money for them not to be spent on her OTHER children that are NOT my partners.
Please help!
Thank you.
