Enquiring on behalf of my son, who has no internet at the moment, he has been told only to work a certain amount of hours at work[32 i think] as he has a health problem which could be classed as a disability, he has a blood condition which makes him extremely tired, he works in a bakery which involves standind at all times ,and a nerve problem with his leg where he was stabbed a few years ago, he has has 2 operations on it, also 2 painful hernias which cannot be operated on as he has had them operated on before and the surgeon wont do it
He has a lot of outgoings and not much money coming in to cover them, so is really struggling, his rent is £400 a month, CSA almost £400 a month for his 16 year old son, which doesnt leave him a lot to live on with TV licence and fuel bills to pay, cant afford transport, so walks to work, often at 5am, luckily work isnt too far away, so he has filled a form in for DLA or whatever its called when someone is working,
Just wondered if anyone had any idea if he would be eligible to claim this
Also tax credits say he has been noverpaid, so cant claim again until next year, its hardly worth working for but he likes working and likes his job, but doesnt gain much from it pleasurewise, i help him out when i can but i am on a state pension,
Thank you for reading
