Dear Sir /Madam,
I am writing this complaint as I am absolutely dumbfounded as to how this shambles of a government agency is actually functioning, this is the second time that you purportedly mislaid my claim form and have blamed me, I know only too well the damage that will arise from not sending my claim form in as you have stung me before, I also find it strange that I sent off three letters that day including my claim form and both other parties received theirs within two working days all but yours, that indeed is inexplicably strange. Now I do not know how your post is collected but I suggest that you have a word with whoever “picks up the post” as it seems to me that that person is either “dropping” post or other case scenario that it has been lost in your so called system although I indeed have other words for it and system is definitely not one of them, Bermuda Triangle perhaps? I am also aware that complaining will be of no benefit to either myself or your department as I know that even if you did stumble across my claim form because it got lost in your so-called “Galactic system” there is absolutely no doubt that you will not apologize for the mistake or indeed even mention it. I have now renewed my claim over the phone via my son as I am deaf and was told 4 weeks but in the mean time I want you to be aware just how much this has affected me and my children we have nooooo money not a dime I have been giving the children whatever I have left in the cupboards which is increasingly looking like “old mother hubbard”, we will run out of gas in two days time therefore no hot water or cooking facilities and I have to tell the children not to use the oven as we need the gas.
All this has made me feeling extremely stressed resulting in 3 migraine attacks and feeling worthless as a mother that is what you have taken away from me, my ability as a mother to provide for my children all because YOU lost my claim form, not me, YOU yourselves having said that it could be the postman but somehow I doubt this as like I mentioned before the other letters that I sent that day arrived as they should and on time so therefore the blame lays solely at your feet.
Therefore extreme measures must be taken to ensure that this does not happen again and I will take the appropriate steps myself to ensure this never happens again, the steps are as follows:
1) I will send ONE claim form off by recorded delivery.
2) I will photocopy the claim form five times and send them all
off from different post boxes therefore guaranteeing that you
receive at least ONE of them.
3) I will also renew over the phone and I hope that you record
the conversation.
4) I will call you within 3 working days to ensure that you have
indeed received my claim in one of the above ways.
I will record all of these above actions in the event that you try and pull the wool over my eyes again, but if the above actions are taken and recorded by me then there should be no reason that this should ever be repeated and I will not be called a “liar” again by your department, comprende? Savvy?
